The Sanctuary Choir
Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church is committed to vital, living, true worship. The Sanctuary Choir serves that end by offering strong vocal leadership during congregational singing and through the singing of anthems. The Sanctuary choir seeks to be a model of authentic vocal worship that proceeds from the whole person, a living sacrifice of praise. The ability to read music is not a requirement for participation. In fact, we consider it a privilege to offer “on the job training” in order to introduce people to choral worship who have never sung in a choir before. The Sanctuary Choir sings regularly at both morning worship services. Any youth or adult member of the congregation is welcome to join us in our rehearsals on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Choir Room #138 in the Education Building.
