2 BOOKS FOR WEEKLY STUDIES:

The Fruitful Life, by Jerry Bridges – Wednesday Morning Bible Study “We want to live loving, joyful, anxiety-free lives. Yet how can we live in grace when we’re so busy battling our old patterns of behavior? Jerry Bridges explores the nine aspects of the “fruit of the Spirit” described in Galatians 5:22-23…these qualities of character can truly mark our lives if we devote ourselves to a two-fold pursuit: God centeredness and Godlikeness. Jerry shows us how to practice a fruitful life every day. Order here from Amazon.

What a Royal Mess, A Study of 1&2 Kings, by Susan Tyner, - Monday Evening, Wednesday Evening, and
Thursday Morning Bible Studies

We, followers of Jesus, are saints who struggle with and against sin in a sinful world. We’ve all struggled with the messes we’ve made because of our sinful choices. And we’ve all found ourselves in messes because of circumstances beyond our control. In this study, “Susan will help walk us through the messiness of what became of the Israeli kingdom after Solomon and find how God was working to point them, and therefore us, forward to the long-awaited King Jesus” where we find hope and forgiveness and grace to grow in Christlikeness, even in our messiness.
